Vilma Atkočiūnienė – Vilma Atkočiūnienė holds the title of Professor, Doctor of Social Sciences, at the Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy. The main areas of her work are pedagogy, science, and consultancy. She is a researcher in international scientific projects, an expert in rural development management, and leader of the European Innovation Partnership (EIP) project “Management of short supply chains for bio-valuable products and development of local markets”, Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture, 2019-2022. The superpowers of her work are rural development management, rural regional development, sustainable rural social infrastructure, the local market and food systems, social partnerships, the LEADER method, SMART village development, and social business development.
