Begum OnalAs a Food Safety and Operations Manager at Gourmet International Food Trade Company, Begum Onal oversees the quality and safety management system in compliance with the ‘BRCGS Agent & Brokers’. Processes and documentation systems are created by her. As a RIS Policy Council member at EIT Food, she manages consulting activities related to Sustainable Food Production and Consumption. She holds a doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Università Degli Di Studi Salerno. As part of her research, she continues to explore ‘Drying of Fruits & Vegetables’, ‘Food Sustainability’, ‘Circular Economy’ and ‘Eco-efficient Production Process’ as well as ’Food Supply Chain Management’.
