Alessandro Rainoldi – Rainoldi has been the Head of Unit at the Joint Research Centre for the European Commission for more than 7 years. From 2004-2009, he was a Deputy and Acting Head of Unit, Operations with Italy, Malta, and Romania, Regional Policy DG. As well as his position with the European Commission, he has been a Visiting Professor at the European College of Parma for almost 17 years. He graduated from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Economics.
